PMO & Automation Analyst Trainee

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a highly motivated, technology-oriented trainee to support the automation, reporting and continuous improvement of PMO and governance processes. The internship lasts 6 months, starts in September 2026 and is based in Madrid. It is aimed at candidates who want a long-term career with the group and are open to full-time employment after the internship.

Key responsibilities

• Process automation: design, develop and maintain Python scripts for file consolidation, data cleansing and report generation, and help build workflows with Microsoft Power Automate
• Data integration support via APIs and automated data exchanges (nice to have)
• Portfolio dashboards, project trackers and status reports: consolidate data with Power Query, maintain Excel models, dashboards, pivot tables and VBA automations, and produce KPI reports in Power BI
• Jira administration: support reporting and dashboards, use Jira APIs to automate data extraction and updates, and help teams use Jira data better
• Continuous improvement: identify ways to simplify, standardise and automate processes, and improve portfolio visibility and decision-making
• Other: prepare draft presentations and meeting minutes, organise files and keep structured documentation

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering
• Eligible for an internship agreement with a university or academic institution
• Almost fluent English is a must
• Attention to detail, organisational and communication skills, proactive attitude, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving and confidentiality
