Private Banker, UHNW - Iberian Market

About the role

Citi Private Bank serves the world's wealthiest individuals and families with bespoke wealth management. As a Private Banker in the Iberian Market, you will develop and deliver private and investment banking services to Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, defined as those with more than USD 25 million net worth.

Key responsibilities

• Build client relationships by understanding clients' businesses and sources of wealth and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Develop tailored solutions for clients' investment, risk management and financing/liquidity needs.
• Set challenging goals, monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve results.
• Help team members gain the experience needed to earn credibility with clients and intermediaries.
• Maintain strong relationships with support functions across the Private Bank to solve issues and resolve problems.
• Promote integrity and trust by explaining the risks involved in different investment strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in UHNW private banking or institutional/corporate banking, specifically in the Iberian Market.
• Demonstrated track record in acquiring relationships and building new business, including prospecting, identifying opportunities and closing transactions.
• Extensive experience selling new products based on client needs.
• Experience working in teams and influencing diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to thrive in a business development environment.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word.
• Awareness of risk and compliance.

The position is full time, paid between EUR 70,200 and EUR 115,800, and is a controlled function under the Central Bank of Ireland regulations.
