Product Engineer – Platform Engineering

About the role

The Product Engineer supports Platform Engineering to ensure the production and performance of Hubbell’s manufactured products. You will help minimize scrap, prevent production holds, avoid recalls, and drive corrective actions while maintaining ISO 9002 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely analysis of manufacturing problems.
• Work with Quality to resolve UL variation notices and maintain CSA Category Certification.
• Participate in Material Review Board activities for both manufacturing sites.
• Generate Design Change Requests and review Engineering Changes for factory locations.
• Assist in implementing Documentation Change Notices.
• Support Design Engineering in introducing new products.
• Participate in ISO auditing and maintain knowledge of UL, Federal Specification, CSA, and other applicable standards.

Required profile

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years experience in design or manufacture of electromechanical products.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering principles.
• Electromechanical product design.
• ISO 9002 compliance.
• Knowledge of UL standards.
• Knowledge of CSA certification requirements.
• Material Review Board processes.
