Project Finance Analyst

About the role

ICF is looking for a Project Finance Analyst to join its Europe & Asia Business Management team in Madrid on a permanent basis. The role drives the financial performance of ICF's activities, covering project forecasting, budgeting, month-end reporting and client billing.

Key responsibilities

• Re-forecast projects in line with ICF policies and procedures so that revenue is recognised correctly
• Forecast, profile revenue and prepare budgets
• Monitor and analyse project financials with Project Managers and Directors
• Own a portfolio of projects and run month-end processes and reporting
• Set up new projects in the ERP system according to contract and SOX regulations
• Calculate and post monthly sub-contractor accruals
• Work with Treasury on client billing, aged debt monitoring and chasing to reduce WIP
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as required

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in finance, ideally in professional services (all applicants considered)
• Currently studying or keen to study towards a finance qualification
• Good verbal, interpersonal and written skills
• Strong work ethic, deadline awareness and interest in learning and development
• Ability to organise, prioritise and self-motivate; team player with a can-do attitude
• Right to work in Spain or eligibility for visa sponsorship, and physical presence in Spain by the first day of employment
