Project Manager Consultant

About the role

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Project Manager Consultant to drive large‑scale IT transformation programmes in Madrid. You will act as the bridge between technology and business sponsors, ensuring alignment, delivering value, and supporting the digital transformation agenda of modern enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Lead communication and alignment between technology and business sponsors, providing structured reporting to senior leadership.
• Analyse and present delivered value in steering committees for major IT transformation programmes.
• Manage and maintain agile planning and project‑tracking tools.
• Define and build dashboards to monitor large‑scale technology programmes.
• Oversee budgets and track the actual return on each technology initiative.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers that could impact the roadmap.
• Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide structured reporting on programme objectives and progress against defined KPIs.

Required profile

• Consulting experience with strong stakeholder management.
• Business and IT mindset with knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in agile project‑management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Monday.
• Ability to design executive dashboards and reports.
• Experience in risk and conflict management, KPI tracking and translating data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Autonomous, proactive, adaptable and a continuous‑learning attitude.
