Psychiatry Medical Director (Hybrid)

About the role

Medpace is seeking an experienced Psychiatry Medical Director to provide scientific, medical, and strategic leadership for clinical trials across multiple locations. The role combines oversight of trial execution with expertise in interpreting and presenting study results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead medical management and provide expertise for psychiatry clinical trials.
• Contribute to study reports, regulatory submissions, and manuscript preparation.
• Oversee safety monitoring and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on trial assessments.
• Participate in new business development, including proposal preparation and sponsor meetings.
• Coordinate feasibility assessments, study design, protocol development, and medical document review.
• Ensure strict adherence to research protocols and company policies.

Required profile

• MD degree (or equivalent) with board certification preferred.
• Current medical licensure preferred.
• Prior experience in clinical trial research, especially within pharmaceutical or CRO settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage safety issues and interpret clinical data.
