About the role
Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composite materials such as carbon fiber, honeycombs and prepregs, is looking for a Purchasing and Procurement Technician for its Parla site in Spain. The person selected will handle supplier orders, deliveries and material authorisations.
Key responsibilities
- Send orders to suppliers.
- Control deliveries and resolve incidents.
- Request additional documentation, such as certificates.
- Handle return requests and manage Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for the use of materials.
- Maintain order and material information in the ERP.
Required profile
- University degree.
- Knowledge, training or experience in purchasing and composite production planning.
- Fluent English and effective communication, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligibility to work in the country where the position is based.
Required skills
- IT tools: Office, programming, databases.
- Some ERP knowledge, preferably SAP Ariba (AX) and/or Apriso.
- BI user.
