Python Developer

About the role

BMAT Music Innovators is looking for a passionate Python Developer to join the team that manages millions of audio files and their metadata. You will work on the full lifecycle of our core data assets, from ingestion to delivery, while enjoying a flexible hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services for data ingestion, processing, and quality control.
• Maintain and optimise the systems that serve audio content to internal applications and client products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Python; not an entry‑level position.
• Comfortable working in a remote/hybrid environment and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Familiar with Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups and sprint planning.
