Python & Power BI Developer

About the role

Talan, an international consulting group focused on innovation and business transformation through technology, is looking for a Power BI and Python web developer in Madrid. The role combines data visualization with Python development and API integration: building interactive dashboards, developing backend functionality and integrating data from several sources. It is a 100% remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring usability and performance.
• Connect Power BI to relational databases, REST APIs and files.
• Develop web applications, backend services and data processing solutions in Python.
• Design, develop, consume and maintain REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for serverless processing and data transformation.
• Process and transform data with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy before reporting.
• Work with technical and business teams to turn requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply CI/CD practices and version control to ensure code quality and reliable deployments.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling and visualization.
• Experience in Python web development, including backend and data processing.
• Experience designing, developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and relational databases with SQL.
• CI/CD experience and advanced knowledge of Git.
