QA Tester – Manual & Automation

About the role

Amaris Consulting is looking for a QA Tester who can combine manual testing expertise with automation skills to ensure high‑quality, reliable applications for thousands of users worldwide. You will work in agile, cross‑functional teams and contribute to seamless user experiences across enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for critical business processes using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating closely with developers for timely resolution.
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform API, database, and end‑to‑end testing where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies and automation coverage.
• Support CI/CD initiatives by integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Tester, QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer.
• Advanced written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Manual functional, regression, integration, exploratory and UAT testing.
• Automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (or similar).
• Programming/scripting languages: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C#.
• API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured.
• Defect and test management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Xray.
• SQL for database validation.
