Quality & Compliance Senior Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead quality and compliance activities for our automotive brand across the European market. The role will be based in our Barcelona headquarters and will involve close interaction with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in line with EU market requirements.
• Support and manage product recall and market surveillance cases, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
• Act as the market‑side representative to evaluate, validate, and recommend improvements for new product quality.
• Provide expert support on certification, Conformity of Production (COP), and recall processes.
• Coordinate communication with EU regulatory bodies and certification authorities when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Automotive, Quality Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the EU automotive market.
• Background working with market surveillance authorities or certification bodies and familiarity with EU regulatory institutions.
• Strong experience in passenger‑vehicle quality management, certification processes, COP, and recall management.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and business‑oriented thinking.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate cross‑functional activities in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
