Quality Engineer - Homologation Area

About the role

Applus IDIADA, a global leader in automotive engineering, is looking for a Quality Engineer for its Homologation area in Tarragona. As a member of the Homologation team, you will promote a culture of quality according to the Management Policy defined by the IDIADA Group. The position is full-time and offers a flexible hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development, maintenance and implementation of the QMS (ISO certifications 9001, 14001 and 45001) and ISO 17025, 17020, 17065 and 17021-1 accreditations according to IDIADA policy.
• Guarantee the proper performance of the system and keep the Management System documentation up to date (procedures, processes, etc.).
• Work with other departments to implement the quality requirements of the QMS and improve company processes.
• Prepare and attend internal and external audits.
• Support audited process owners in defining corrective actions for non-conformities and follow them up until effectiveness is verified.
• Manage non-conforming work and incident management, with support from the Quality, Environmental and OHS departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Aeronautics Engineering, or similar; other education is valued depending on professional experience.
• High level of English is mandatory; French, German, Italian and others are valued.
• Proactive and cooperative, client-oriented, with a passion for doing work well.

Required skills

• Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, etc.) and OHSMS and EMS is valued but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as problem-solving analysis, Kaizen and 5S is valued but not mandatory.
• High level of MS Office.
