Quality System Manager – Automotive

About the role

We are looking for a Quality System Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of our European Quality Management System for OMODA & JAECOO Motors. Based in our Barcelona headquarters, you will work closely with HQ and regional teams to ensure compliance with European automotive quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and continuously improve the EU Business quality management system.
• Organise and execute internal and simulation audits, including mock COP audits, to verify regulatory and internal compliance.
• Manage product compliance activities, ensuring alignment with EU regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the electronic Certificate of Conformity (e‑CoC) process, coordinating timelines and system support.
• Support quality planning and operational management across the EU region.
• Collaborate with HQ and local teams to implement and operate quality‑related systems and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Automotive, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in passenger‑vehicle quality system management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle manufacturing processes and ability to conduct process audits.
• Proven experience in quality system development, audit planning and compliance management.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and business‑oriented thinking.
