Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician reports to the Quality Manager in Salamanca and supports the design, manufacture and release of clinical and research products that meet established specifications. The role contributes to product safety and quality, the maintenance of the quality management system and compliance with quality standards, regulations and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, investigate, complete and close Quality Notifications (QN) according to standard operating procedures
• Identify quality events, support investigations and report quality issues to the Quality Manager
• Support colleagues in following up complaints, changes, CAPAs, corrections and other quality records
• Monitor, document and analyse quality metrics and review batch records
• Gather information for Quality Management Reviews and prepare reports
• Draft and update local SOPs, working instructions, analysis reports and plans
• Support the Quality department in external, internal and customer audits and regulatory investigations
• Act as a role model for quality in the workplace and keep up with regulatory compliance requirements
• Recommend improvements to product and process quality, availability and cost

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Life Sciences preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant technical experience in a regulated industry, or equivalent education and experience
• High level of English

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 standards (required)
• Knowledge of GMP expected
