Rail Systems and MEP BIM Modeler

About the role

AECOM is recruiting a Rail Systems BIM Modeler with Revit experience to join its Rail Systems team in the Spain Enterprise Capabilities Office in Madrid. The team develops international rail projects (traction power substations, power distribution, catenary, telecommunications, signaling, station and technical building installations) and supports design, construction, as-built documentation and feasibility studies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the engineering team by clarifying project installations and resolving interface issues
• Create geolocated 3D models with project and shared parameters, link models across disciplines and coordinate levels and grids
• Create and manage families for rail systems and MEP (conduits, cable trays, ducts, electrical and mechanical equipment, communication devices)
• Produce drawings with view templates, filters, title blocks, schedules and annotations, printed to project standards
• Attend BIM team meetings, review the BIM Execution Plan and clash detection meetings, and take part in design submissions

Required profile

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience
• Good level of 2D drawing skills
• Advanced user of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ACC, Forma and Navisworks, and automation with Dynamo, is positively valued
• Teamwork spirit and willingness to help
• English at B2 level
