Regulatory Affairs Officer (Temporary)

About the role

Join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions team at the Barcelona site as a Regulatory Affairs Officer on a temporary basis. You will support the management of the company’s portfolio of plant protection products, biostimulants and fertilizers, ensuring compliance with Spanish and EU regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Request, follow up and upload certificates, supply letters, Letters of Access and fee requests using the RegHub system.
• Maintain accurate records in RegHub and other regulatory databases.
• Coordinate label‑related activities with Supply Chain, Artwork and Product Safety teams, including tracking new Unique Formula Identifiers (UFIs).
• Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and administrative petitions to Spanish authorities.
• Assist senior colleagues in the preparation and follow‑up of registration dossiers for plant protection products, biocides, biostimulants and fertilizers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Marketing and Supply Chain to support regulatory processes.
• Provide administrative support for third‑party agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Natural Sciences or a comparable scientific discipline.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory affairs; prior experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent in Spanish and English to work in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the RegHub system.
• Experience handling regulatory databases.
