Remote Part‑time Accountant for Diverse Clients

About the role

This remote, part‑time contractor position supports a portfolio of non‑profit and for‑profit organisations based in Spain. You will provide accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance while working independently in a flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile client bank statements and maintain up‑to‑date bookkeeping records.
• Manage income and expenditure accounts to ensure proper financial tracking.
• Prepare financial reports based on accounting data and business activities.
• Handle tax filings, remittances, and other compliance requirements.
• Support the implementation, management, and optimisation of accounting software systems, primarily QuickBooks Online.
• Provide accurate financial information and maintain organised documentation for each client.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with non‑profit accounting is preferred.
• CPA certification or equivalent professional designation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work independently.
