Reservation Internship - Sofitel Barcelona Skipper

About the role

Sofitel Barcelona Skipper, a 5-star hotel in the city centre of Barcelona just metres from the beach, is looking for a full-time Reservation Intern. The internship covers the whole Reservations department and is open to students currently enrolled in a hospitality or business school.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer requests by phone and email
• Manage individual and group accommodation reservations
• Use reservation systems Opera (PMS) and Resaweb
• Follow up every reservation, regardless of booking channel, so guests feel special
• Review all reservations on the books to check their validity and details

Required profile

• Eligible to work in Spain from the start date; no visa or work permit sponsorship available
• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or business school
• Strong social and communication skills, proactive, enthusiastic and detail-oriented
• Eager to learn, no prior specialization required
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days a week, 40 hours a week

Required skills

• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus
• Knowledge of Opera (PMS) and Resaweb
