Sales License Compliance Intern (German Speaker)

About the role

PTC is hiring a Software License Compliance Intern for its Barcelona offices, working in a hybrid setting. Reporting to the Sales License Compliance manager, you will support software antipiracy enforcement to prevent or stop violations of PTC's copyright, so that customers and prospects use PTC products properly and lawfully. You will work closely with Legal, Finance, Sales, Partners and other teams on non-compliant cases. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Support software antipiracy enforcement and resolve non-compliant cases with the Legal, Finance, Sales and Partners teams
• Handle challenging conversations politely and proactively to reach settlements
• Train on international investigation, data analysis and negotiation skills
• Qualify potential customers' engagements and define the best strategy, scope and approach for software compliance management

Required profile

• Degree-educated student, preferably in the last year of studies
• Eligibility for a university agreement is mandatory
• Fluent English and German; native Italian, German or French is also required
• Preferably already living in Barcelona or willing to relocate soon
• Availability for a minimum of 6 months

Required skills

• Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good knowledge of Excel and a potential CRM system
• Written and spoken communication in English and a native Romance or Germanic language
