Scientific Applications Specialist (CRM, ComLIMS, LIMS)

About the role

A new position is open since 8 July 2024 to join an existing team in the Consumer Product Testing Division of Eurofins Scientific, based in Parque Industrial de Elche, Alicante. The role reports to the CRM and ComLIMS responsible for the division and supports business growth through the implementation and administration of the division's software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of CRM, ComLIMS and/or LIMS in labs or business units that do not yet use them.
• Manage the CRM and ComLIMS databases across the division.
• Customize and configure the tools to business needs (concepts, fields, lists, rules, naming conventions, forms, reports, language settings).
• Help reinforce the use of the tools, provide access and rights to users, and support the preparation of training materials.
• Support data quality and integrity, including account ownership rules and duplicate prevention.
• Maintain pricing in the ERP together with production teams and ensure the full service offer is in the ERP.
• Contribute to structured, documented sales catalogues and maintain the links between ComLIMS, CRM and LIMS.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting of DMS and other minor tools.

Required profile

• Degree in biochemistry or another scientific background with strong business experience.
• Advanced user of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent English is a must; Mandarin Chinese is appreciated.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Agile and structured mindset, teamwork-oriented, good communication skills and ability to defend positions with sound arguments.
