Senior AI Transformation – WM&I

About the role

Senior AI Transformation – WM&I at Santander in Madrid will lead the design and delivery of AI‑driven solutions across Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management. You will work closely with business, Data & AI, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Operations to identify high‑value opportunities, embed safe prompting practices and scale tools such as Copilot, AI agents and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute AI transformation road‑maps for one or more WM&I domains, aligning with business priorities and governance.
• Identify, qualify and prioritize AI use cases across the wealth lifecycle, including banker productivity, advisory support, knowledge management, document automation and operational efficiency.
• Translate business pain points into actionable AI solutions – prompt patterns, Copilot experiences, agent workflows, automation playbooks and adoption journeys.
• Lead discovery workshops with senior stakeholders and frontline teams to redesign processes and define measurable AI‑enabled ways of working.
• Build business cases, adoption road‑maps and KPI frameworks to demonstrate efficiency, revenue, risk reduction and user adoption.
• Coordinate delivery with Data & AI, Engineering, Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Legal and vendor teams to ensure scalable, secure and compliant solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor on AI adoption, prompt engineering, change management and responsible AI practices, creating enablement material and communities of practice.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading AI transformation initiatives in financial services or related sectors.
• Strong ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
