Senior Analyst

About the role

The Senior Analyst will review and analyse credit applications, recommend line‑of‑credit approvals, and oversee a portfolio of accounts. The role involves preparing annual relationship reviews, upselling banking products, and identifying and mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit and win new business by marketing the Group’s products, interviewing prospective borrowers, and coordinating loan documentation.
• Perform in‑depth financial analysis, modelling, and risk assessment to prepare written credit proposals and recommendations.
• Conduct market research to support annual business plans and achieve team targets.
• Maintain regular client visits, develop relationships, and cross‑sell banking services.
• Coordinate credit facility approvals, oversee security perfection, and prepare disbursement packages.
• Execute annual credit reviews, prepare management reports, and recommend actions for high‑risk or non‑performing accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related field (or ACCA Level II).
• Minimum five years of banking credit experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and cross‑selling abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with the Group’s software systems.
