Senior Associate - Video Games, Web3 & Digital Assets

About the role

Plug and Play Tech Center, the largest global technology startup accelerator, is looking for a Senior Associate in Madrid. The role delivers value to partners across its verticals with a specific focus on video games, gamification, digital assets, web3 or related areas. The ideal candidate is strategic, ambitious, detail-oriented and able to influence internally and with external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end project execution, monitor progress and KPIs, anticipate risks and ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders to secure adoption, renewals and new revenue opportunities.
• Organize and run events within the scope of the project.
• Track new trends and advise clients on strategic opportunities aligned with project objectives.
• Carry out ad-hoc projects and tasks, coordinating resources and aligning teams and stakeholders.
• Escalate client issues, coordinate key resources and help resolve them.
• Sourcing, outreach and screening of new startups, and identifying business development, licensing and investment opportunities.
• Design engagement plans mapping products and services to client business goals.
• Prepare project documentation such as progress reports, case studies, dealflows and PoCs.
• Conduct market and industry reports and support commercial activities such as lead generation and proposal preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, economics or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication skills and public speaking; fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
• Plus: startup experience, experience managing accelerators or incubators, and strong knowledge of the video game industry, web3 and metaverse.

• Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis and automation.
• Microsoft Power BI for data modeling, visualization and business intelligence reporting.
• Project management and coordination of multiple work streams.
