Senior Backend Integration Engineer – C#/.NET, Azure, Salesforce

About the role

As a Senior Backend Integration Engineer you will lead the design and delivery of modern, cloud‑native integration solutions that connect maxon’s precision drive systems with Salesforce and other enterprise platforms. You will work in a global, distributed team to ensure integrations are reliable, scalable and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve a C#/.NET integration layer on Azure, improving performance, maintainability and reliability.
• Define and implement API strategies (real‑time, bulk, event‑driven) with a focus on Salesforce integrations.
• Analyze, simplify and refactor existing integration flows to reduce complexity.
• Own design decisions around API boundaries, data synchronization, security and performance.
• Ensure engineering quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging.
• Design robust data‑synchronization mechanisms, including idempotency, conflict handling and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, translating technical concepts into clear business insights.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce integration (REST, Apex REST, SOQL, Bulk API 2.0, Pub/Sub).
• Passion for building scalable, reliable cloud integration solutions.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in distributed, international teams.
• Proactive ownership, sound decision‑making and willingness to share knowledge.
