Senior Contract Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

The Senior Contract Manager will lead end‑to‑end contract and claim management for renewable energy projects, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and wind deliveries. You will protect Envision’s commercial interests by shaping contract strategy, mitigating risk, and resolving disputes while working closely with project delivery, sales, legal, finance, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract review, negotiation support and hand‑over for customer, EPC/EPCM and key subcontractor agreements.
• Administer contracts during execution, tracking obligations, notices, payment milestones, variations and document control.
• Manage claims and counter‑claims, support extension‑of‑time strategies and drive dispute resolution to safeguard margin and cash flow.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks such as performance guarantees, warranties, tax/incoterms, insurance and acceptance criteria.
• Provide commercial guidance on BESS and wind technical interfaces, commissioning, grid compliance and performance tests.
• Maintain contracting standards, templates and lessons learned; coach project teams on compliance and governance.

Required profile

• Solid experience in contract management for energy or infrastructure projects, preferably renewable (BESS or wind).
• Strong knowledge of EPC/EPCM, multi‑package and supply‑plus‑installation delivery models.
• Proven negotiation, stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
