Senior Creative Automation Manager (Generative AI)

About the role

zooplus, a pet e-commerce company with over 25 years of experience, is looking for a Senior Creative Automation Manager in Madrid. As an individual contributor in the Creative team, you will act as subject matter expert for Generative AI, creative automation and workflow optimization, driving its adoption across the Design and Creative organization. You will work closely with Design, Marketing, Analytics, AI and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Generative AI and Creative Automation strategy for the Design organization.
• Identify, evaluate and implement AI-powered solutions that improve creative production, localization, adaptation and content optimization.
• Design and scale automated workflows for creative asset creation, versioning, resizing, distribution and localization.
• Partner with Design, Marketing, Analytics and Technology teams to integrate AI and automation into daily creative workflows.
• Develop frameworks for creative testing, experimentation and performance optimization using data-driven insights.
• Establish best practices, governance, prompt libraries and quality standards for the responsible use of AI.
• Define and monitor success metrics for automation initiatives and drive adoption of new tools and ways of working.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Creative Operations, Creative Technology, Marketing Automation, Digital Production, AI or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and AI-enabled creative workflows.
• Strong understanding of digital creative production across multiple marketing channels.
• Experience designing or improving scalable workflows, processes or operational frameworks.
• Understanding of performance marketing and how creative assets affect campaign results.
• Proven stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-have

• Workflow automation platforms, APIs or system integrations.
• Digital Asset Management (DAM) or creative technology platforms.
• Basic HTML, JSON, APIs or scripting.
• AI image and video generation tools, creative testing frameworks, e-commerce or retail experience, and large-scale localization.
