Senior Director – People Relations and Compliance

About the role

The People Relations & Compliance (PRC) Lead directs global Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Compliance functions. Reporting to senior leadership, this role shapes strategy, governance, and delivery models to ensure consistent, compliant, and business‑aligned practices worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the three pillars—Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Compliance—under a unified CoE model.
• Design and execute PRC transformation, governance, and RACI frameworks across global, regional, and business teams.
• Standardize policies, processes, and tools while allowing local flexibility.
• Resolve complex, high‑risk cases and senior‑executive escalations in partnership with Legal.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior executives on people risk, compliance, and organizational decisions.
• Clarify ownership between PRC, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders to improve delivery effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other CoEs to ensure seamless delivery of people‑related initiatives.
• Build, develop, and coach a high‑performing PRC team, leveraging AI, automation, and data‑driven insights.
• Drive proactive risk mitigation and lead the shift toward a strategic, customer‑focused PRC function.

Required profile

• Extensive global leadership experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Compliance.
• Proven track record handling senior‑executive escalations and high‑risk employee cases.
• Strong compliance and legal acumen with ability to interpret complex regulations.
• Deep expertise in collective bargaining and workforce negotiations.
• Experience operating within a Center of Excellence model and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic and operational mindset, balancing governance with execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale organizational transformation.
• High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
