Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Senior Finance Business Partner in Barcelona, reporting to the EMEA Lifecycle Manager. The role acts as a trusted advisor to business leadership, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive profitable growth, improve operational performance and support strategic decisions. It combines financial expertise, commercial experience and analytical capability, and works in a hybrid model with an office in Barcelona or Katowice.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Operations, Project Management and Service Delivery teams, challenging decisions with fact-based financial analysis and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Drive performance management: revenue growth, gross margin, backlog conversion, cash flow and working capital, including actuals vs. plan analysis and business performance reviews.
• Lead forecasting, annual operating plan, scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and evaluation of business cases and investment opportunities.
• Analyse customer, project and contract profitability, support proposal reviews and commercial approvals, and monitor backlog performance.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards and presentations, and communicate financial performance, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls, support accurate reporting, and optimise working capital and project asset balances.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Partnering or Controlling.
• Preferred: professional finance qualification such as CMA, ACCA or CIMA, and experience with services, project-based, industrial, manufacturing or engineering organisations.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
