Senior Finance Insights Analyst

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a hands-on, analytical Senior Finance Insights Analyst to join its Finance Performance department at the Barcelona headquarters, reporting directly to the Finance Insights Manager. The role safeguards the accuracy of core financial reporting packages across month-end closing windows and keeps metrics such as GMV and Contribution Margin consistent across all Glovo countries. It also acts as the team's automation and AI champion, building automated data pipelines, Looker models and workflow automations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end execution of Glovo's internal financial reporting package, delivering it without defects by strict month-end deadlines.
• Maintain and defend the logic of core metrics (GMV, Contribution Margin, unit economics) so they stay consistent across financial statements, dashboards and regional reports.
• Work with Fintech Data and BI engineers to design, test and troubleshoot data models, SQL queries and Looker dashboards.
• Build automation solutions with SQL, Python, workflow tools (Make, Zapier, RPA) and AI tools to cut out manual data preparation.
• Analyse variances and drill into order-level unit economics to support HQ FP&A and local finance decisions.
• Act as the bridge between business finance teams and technical engineering teams, resolving logic bottlenecks and rolling out schema updates.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Finance, Business Intelligence or Analytics within high-growth, tech or marketplace environments.
• Solid understanding of P&L mechanics, unit economics and month-end closing.
• Track record of building automated reports, scheduled data pipelines or automated validation checks.
• Strong collaborative communication, able to translate between business finance stakeholders and data engineering teams.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (joins, window functions, query optimisation).
• Experience with BI/visualisation platforms such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI.
• Nice to have: Python scripting, experience in on-demand delivery, e-commerce or multi-sided marketplaces, and familiarity with Anaplan, OneStream or SAP.
