Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to provide expert guidance on complex employee relations across several Western European countries. This fully remote, client‑facing position supports both Oyster customers and internal teams, helping them navigate high‑risk HR issues with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior HR expert for complex employee‑relations matters across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Provide pragmatic, solution‑focused advice on performance management, misconduct investigations, terminations and other high‑risk cases.
• Navigate local legal frameworks to ensure compliance while supporting business objectives.
• Draft and maintain country‑specific HR documentation, leveraging AI and automation tools for efficiency.
• Respond to HR tickets, offer training to internal teams, and attend customer calls as needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Product, and Legal teams to resolve country‑specific issues.
• Continuously audit and improve workflows, reduce response times, and share AI best practices.
• Analyze ticket trends to identify systemic issues and develop preventative solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in employee relations across several European countries.
• Deep knowledge of local employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to handle high‑risk, sensitive HR cases with a pragmatic mindset.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills and commercial awareness.
• Comfort with leveraging AI and automation to scale HR knowledge delivery.

Required skills

• Experience using AI or automation tools for HR documentation and process improvement.
