Senior IT Project Manager – Laboratory Systems in Pharma

About the role

Fusion Consulting, a global Life Sciences boutique consultancy focused on pharma, healthcare and animal health, is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager for its Quality Lab in Barcelona. The role leads complex IT projects in the quality lab environment, ensuring high performance and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver IT projects in the quality lab, managing schedules, budgets and resources
• Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope and implement quality assurance processes for IT systems
• Carry out risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead project teams, foster continuous improvement and drive adoption of best practices in IT project management
• Prepare project status reports and manage vendor relationships for IT quality lab projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• PMP certification required
• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, focused on quality assurance
• Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• Knowledge of GxP regulatory compliance
