Senior Manager, Global Marketing Strategy & Planning

About the role

This is a Senior Manager position within HP's Personal Systems Marketing organization, based in Sant Cugat del Valles. The role leads the team that defines HP's worldwide Personal Systems marketing strategy and coordinates its execution across Enterprise, SMB, Consumer and Gaming segments. It is the deputy and backup to the WW Head of Global PS Marketing Strategy & Planning, with a path toward broader leadership representation.

Key responsibilities

• Define the global Personal Systems marketing strategy and translate it into segment plans, aligned with customer and competitive insights and the Business-owned 4P plan
• Co-own the FY and H2 strategic marketing plan and drive COE, GTM and market readiness
• Integrate global and local 4P execution, set and track country targets, run quarterly Country QBWs for the top 6 countries and scale best practices
• Line-manage four Segment Leads and coach them, while improving the team's VIA score and employability
• Act as deputy to the WW Head, representing the function in executive forums such as QBWs and reviews

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management or a related field; MBA a plus
• 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing strategy, planning and/or go-to-market roles, with at least 3 years in a people-leadership role in a global/matrix environment
• Experience defining multi-segment strategies (Commercial/B2B and Consumer; gaming exposure a plus)
• Experience managing large global marketing budgets, including partner/Alliance funding, and implementing allocation and cost-to-serve frameworks
• Experience with closed-loop measurement, brand preference tracking and data-driven optimization
• Experience working with senior executives (VP/SVP) and representing marketing in cross-functional forums

Required skills

• Strong financial and analytical acumen, including ROI/MRC measurement
• Comfort with analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Executive presence, storytelling and excellent written and spoken English; additional languages a plus
