Senior MuleSoft Developer

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Senior MuleSoft Developer in Madrid to design, deliver and own enterprise integration solutions that underpin its core business platforms. The role ensures integrations are robust, scalable, secure, observable and production-ready, with particular focus on MuleSoft development, event-driven integrations using Solace PubSub+, and ownership of logging and monitoring platforms (OpenSearch and Grafana).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy APIs and integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, applying API-led connectivity patterns and contributing to integration standards.
• Develop complex DataWeave transformations and robust error-handling strategies.
• Design event-driven integrations with Solace PubSub+, applying retry, idempotency, dead-letter queues and fault tolerance; experience with other platforms such as Apache Kafka is advantageous.
• Define and maintain API specifications with Swagger/OpenAPI, keeping APIs documented, versioned and discoverable.
• Own the logging and monitoring stack: implement logging with OpenTelemetry, deploy and maintain OpenSearch, and run Grafana dashboards and alerts on integration health, throughput, latency and error rates.
• Integrate with enterprise systems such as SAP via MuleSoft connectors, working with Enterprise Architecture, SAP, infrastructure and security teams.
• Take part in P1/P2 incident resolution and post-incident reviews, and ensure integrations meet security, data protection and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Mandatory MuleSoft certification (Developer or Integration Architect).
• 4-5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience in an enterprise or mission-critical environment.
• Professional English proficiency; location is Madrid, Spain.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
• Senior-level problem-solving, ability to work independently, and clear technical communication.

Required skills

• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including build/deployment pipelines such as Azure DevOps.
• Solace PubSub+ and OpenSearch.
• Grafana dashboards and alerting.
• Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Advantageous: Apache Kafka, SAP integration, MoveIT/Couchdrop/SFTP, Maven, Git/GitHub and Linux.
