Senior PHP Developer – Payments Squad

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join its Payments squad. The team designs and builds robust, scalable and secure platforms for payments, reconciliation and fiscal automation, working in demanding environments where software quality, reliability and adaptability are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary squad focused on high concurrency, testability, best practices and efficiency.
• Design and develop robust, maintainable APIs for payment systems, reconciliation and fiscal process automation.
• Take part in architectural decisions to build scalable, resilient systems.
• Implement high-concurrency workflows with a focus on operational stability and traceability.
• Integrate external services handling critical business logic.
• Contribute to test coverage, code reviews and controlled deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with AWS services such as SQS, CloudWatch and Lambda, managing events, queues and metrics.
• Collaborate with other technical teams using the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, SonarCloud).

Required profile

• Experience working in payment systems or financial platforms.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps-oriented teams and cloud-native environments.
• Experience in high-traffic, real-time systems.

The selection process includes a 1-hour talent interview, a technical assignment returned within 3 days, a 1.5-hour team interview and a 1-hour engineering manager interview.
