Senior Product Designer – Cards

About the role

DKB Code Factory is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join its Cards domain in Valencia. You will work across two product teams, helping bring a new banking product to market by building on existing concepts, designing customer journeys and shaping how customers use it. You will also improve existing card products and services, working with Product and Engineering to find solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Design team in Berlin.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of design work across two product teams, covering card onboarding, card management and related services.
• Design customer journeys for a new banking product and prepare designs for implementation.
• Review and build on existing designs, identify gaps and move the work forward.
• Design user flows, interactions and interfaces, including different states and edge cases.
• Apply accessibility standards and legal requirements such as WCAG and BFSG.
• Use customer feedback, research and data to improve existing card experiences and propose validated solutions with Product.
• Manage priorities across both teams, communicate trade-offs and raise dependencies or risks early.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Business and Legal/Compliance to clarify requirements and agree on solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and design reviews, keep the Design Manager and the Berlin Design team informed, and share knowledge with other designers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design, ideally on complex digital products or mobile apps; banking, fintech, insurance or other regulated industries is a plus.
• A portfolio showing how you approach design problems, make decisions and work with others.
• Ability to work through unclear or changing requirements, manage priorities and make design decisions independently.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Professional English required; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong UX/UI and interaction design skills, with end-to-end customer journey design.
• Accessibility design in line with WCAG.
• Figma and experience with design systems.
