Senior Project Manager Data (High English) - Hybrid

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a Senior Project Manager Data with a high level of English (at least B2/C1) for an international client. The position is based in Madrid on a hybrid basis, with attendance at the client site 2-3 times per week. It is a permanent contract with 12 monthly payments, flexible pay and a bonus on objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver project management artefacts such as timelines, deliverables and communication plans.
• Coordinate project activities with the required stakeholders and remove obstacles to their satisfaction and financial performance.
• Handle project financial controls, business cases and financial project tracking.
• Act as the link between technical teams and executive leadership, keeping AI initiatives compliant and aligned with business goals.
• Assess capacity needs, identify resource gaps and coordinate team backfills.
• Liaise with procurement, vendor management and external implementation partners.
• Manage the steering committee: prepare monthly briefing packs, track decision logs and set the agenda.
• Draft high-impact presentations and talk tracks for conferences, board meetings and client showcases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, including digital transformation, AI and target operating model design.
• Experience with offshore outsourcing organisations and global roll-outs.
• Ability to explain data science concepts to C-suite executives.
• Project management certification (PMP primary, Scrum secondary) and ITIL v3 certification.
• Understanding of LLM lifecycles, data tokenization and basic AI platform and multi-cloud principles.
