Senior QA Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Colliers is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer for its newly established Technology Hub in Madrid. The role is part of the founding team that shapes the hub's culture, practices and technical direction, working in a hybrid model (remote and onsite). It involves delivering high-quality, reliable and scalable enterprise software for commercial real estate, collaborating with international Product, Engineering, DevOps, Data, QA and Architecture teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create a reusable automation testing framework and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend and API layers using tools such as Cypress, Playwright and Postman
• Lead functional and non-functional testing, embed tests in CI/CD pipelines and drive a test-first culture with unit, integration and performance testing
• Partner with engineers to make code testable, scalable and maintainable, and help resolve production issues
• Guide the selection of QA tools (test management, performance testing, Storybook) and standardize test environments and data management
• Reduce test flakiness, support parallel execution and use Figma and user stories to define test cases
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, take part in design and code reviews, and own production systems
• Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams on acceptance criteria, build pipelines and observability, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• 8+ years in QA or software testing, with a strong background in test automation
• Hands-on experience with frontend and end-to-end testing frameworks and API testing tools
• Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) including story estimation, code reviews and pair programming
• Experience in distributed or remote teams and with Jira, GitHub, Miro and Azure DevOps
• Fluent English and Spanish

Required skills

• Testing React, TypeScript and .NET applications
• CI/CD integration with Azure DevOps or similar
• Preferred: performance and security testing tools, DDD and event-driven architecture exposure
