Senior Salesforce Developer

About the role

DWS Global Technology's SalesForce Program Development Team is recruiting a Senior Salesforce Developer in Madrid. The role suits an experienced Salesforce developer who wants a challenging engagement with room to grow their career and understanding of the platform. In DWS Asset Management, Salesforce is used for client relationship management (CRM), Know Your Customer (KYC) and to help the sales organisation meet regulatory requirements such as MiFID and GDPR.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand functional requirements at a high level and set development expectations for project deliverables.
• Create technical solutions in a hybrid agile development environment.
• Collaborate with the development team to deliver metadata components into Salesforce following the SDLC lifecycle.
• Build new code components, support and maintain existing ones, and support production environments and implementations using bank-approved tools.

Required profile

• Very strong experience (5-10 years) with Salesforce configuration and development to a certified level.
• 5-10 years of experience on Salesforce project deliverables in the financial sector or a similar heavily regulated industry (asset management or banking preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability to break down business problems into technical solutions.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and workflows, with responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Required skills

• Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, AppExchange packages (APTTUS, GEOPOINTE), Mobile and Einstein Analytics.
• Salesforce CRM technologies: SOQL, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Apex classes and triggers, JavaScript, Java, JSON, Flows.
• Development tools: IntelliJ, Bitbucket, Git, TeamCity, Force.com IDE, Change Sets, Data Loader.
