Senior Software Development Manager, International

About the role

Clio, a global leader in legal AI technology, is looking for a Senior Software Development Manager, International to join its Engineering team. The role is open to candidates in Barcelona and involves leading a growing team focused on Clio's expansion into new international markets, while staying hands-on with the technology and code.

Key responsibilities

• Deep dive into the technology and code so managers and developers understand what is possible
• Lead a growing team focused on Clio's expansion into new international markets
• Guide the technical strategy for innovative projects, including launching Clio's products in new markets worldwide
• Directly supervise, mentor and collaborate with engineering managers and individual contributors
• Partner with Product Management and Product Design to envision, develop and execute the product roadmap
• Work with the Recruiting/People team to recruit and hire top engineering talent

Required profile

• Experienced engineering leader, comfortable with spec-driven development and autonomous agents that develop, test and push code to production
• Proven international SaaS experience across different regulatory systems, business practices and cultures
• Track record of scaling services and systems, and of managing and mentoring high-performing teams
• Experience crafting long-term strategies and technical roadmaps, and running agile organizations at scale
• Experience promoting diversity and inclusion in a large engineering organization
