Senior Software Engineer

About the role

seQura, a privately owned fintech born in Barcelona and expanding across southern Europe and Latin America, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The role suits someone who can see the big picture, balances software quality with a pragmatic approach to scaling the company, and enjoys ownership and collaboration with experienced colleagues. Candidates contribute to technical and architectural decisions and may help create new teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience building, deploying and maintaining web applications, with Ruby on Rails; JavaScript, Elixir, Kotlin, Java and Python are also valued.
• Solid knowledge of OOP, clean coding, TDD and agile.
• English proficiency.
• Proactive, accountable, analytical and pragmatic, with attention to detail and product ownership.
