Senior Solution Architect - Healthcare & Life Sciences (SAFe)

About the role

Nagarro, a digital product engineering company with more than 18,000 experts across 39 countries, is looking for a Senior Lead Solution Architect for its Healthcare & Life Sciences practice in Barcelona. You will define and drive scalable, secure and compliant technology solutions for global healthcare and life sciences organisations, working with business stakeholders, Enterprise and System Architects, engineering teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the architectural vision and target-state solution architecture across complex business initiatives
• Work with Solution Management and business stakeholders to design solutions that meet customer and organisational needs
• Collaborate with System Architects, Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and suppliers to elaborate solution designs and validate architectural decisions
• Design and maintain the Architectural Runway, and govern interfaces, integrations, APIs, deployment models and non-functional requirements
• Lead architecture workshops, design sessions, PI Planning, Solution Demos, Inspect & Adapt and other SAFe ceremonies
• Enable and improve CI/CD pipelines through modern engineering and DevOps practices
• Ensure compliance with security, quality, regulatory and data governance requirements
• Drive architecture decisions on cloud platforms, integrations, data management, automation and analytics, and manage external suppliers and partners

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or similar senior architectural roles
• Experience in SAFe environments, supporting Solution Trains and ARTs
• Experience in highly regulated industries, ideally Healthcare, Life Sciences, Medical Devices or Pharma
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and consulting skills, and experience with globally distributed teams
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English

Required skills

• TOGAF, API Architecture, SOA and modern integration patterns
• Hands-on cloud solution design, preferably AWS
• Cloud architecture, APIs and integration platforms, microservices, CI/CD and DevOps
• Data governance and data protection, security architecture
