Senior Sourcing Manager – Diagnostics Procurement

About the role

Roche's Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) team is hiring a Senior Sourcing Manager in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain. You will lead end-to-end sourcing projects within the diagnostic portfolios, mentor a growing team of Sourcing Managers and advise executive leadership. The position sits in the Procurement Center of Excellence, reports to the Sourcing Lead and works alongside Category and Delivery stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive performance and savings metrics such as PPV savings, preferred supplier share and shorter cycle times, while tracking stakeholder satisfaction
• Run global sourcing activities, standard processes (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs) and NPI benchmarking with Category and NPI managers
• Set up and review high-complexity contracts (e.g. MSAs) and purchasing documentation, and manage their lifecycle repository and renewals
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to simplify workflows, analyse site user requirements and ensure compliance with global policies
• Work with Accounts Payable to clear supplier-related administrative bottlenecks and champion supply base CSR initiatives
• Manage high-stakes conflicts over project priorities or supplier selection and give monthly/quarterly updates to the CoE leadership

Required profile

• University degree (Business or Life Sciences preferred); MBA or equivalent and certifications such as CIPS or ISM are desirable
• 5-7+ years of experience in sourcing and end-to-end contract management, with a track record of procurement projects such as cost reduction and value improvement
• In-depth knowledge of the global supplier landscape and hands-on experience in complex categories such as ADI, reagents, biologics, PCBAs, semiconductors, engineering services, tooling and logistics
• Advanced knowledge of AI applications and digital transformation of operations
• Proven ability to mentor colleagues across remote locations and resolve conflicts
• Business-level English; Spanish or German is an asset
