Senior Specialist Directory Services - Identity & Access Management

About the role

Roche is looking for a Senior Specialist Directory Services within its RDT Identity & Access Management team in Madrid. You will join a multicultural, global team that protects information and assets from unauthorized access, security risks and cyber attacks. The role covers designing solutions and providing tier 2-3 operational support, performance, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of the underlying technologies, often in multi-timezone projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead (as Solution Architect) small to medium technical teams and contribute to end-to-end design of infrastructure solutions, including documentation.
• Work with senior internal and external partners on PoCs and feasibility studies to define success criteria and evaluate technologies.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and operate, implement and support the on-premise and cloud (Entra ID) directory services infrastructure and its applications.
• Monitor systems for performance, availability and capacity, and minimize escalations.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, resolve incidents and implement changes.
• Follow ITIL, GxP and project management concepts such as request, incident, change and problem management, document management, qualification and validation.
• Take part in 24x7 on-call support (about one week per month) and occasional international travel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent recognized experience.
• 6+ years administering and advanced troubleshooting in Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Experience in a major global organization, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP and Entra ID, focused on governance, administration of identity security cloud services and hybrid cloud/on-premise synchronization.
• Powershell scripting.
• Willingness to cross-train and keep technical and soft skills up to date.
