Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager

About the role

Expedia Group's Business to Business unit (EG B2B) partners with travel agencies, airlines, financial institutions, membership organisations and travel management companies to give them access to Expedia Group travel inventory. You will join the B2B Strategy & Transformation team in Madrid, helping turn industry insights into action. The total cash range for this position in Madrid is 70,000 to 98,000 EUR, with the potential to reach 112,000 EUR based on sustained performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic insight generation: identify and evaluate trends, industry developments and partner insights to inform EG B2B's growth strategy
• Drive insight activation: develop and own processes so the right stakeholders see and use the right insights at the right time
• Support executive decision-making by delivering clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders
• Contribute to annual and long-term planning with intelligence and opportunity sizing
• Build and maintain a centralised repository of industry, partner and competitive intelligence
• Partner with teams across B2B and Expedia to drive alignment and execution

Required profile

• 5-7 years of experience in strategy consulting or a similar role in a leading technology company
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience structuring data and insights to drive alignment and decision-making
• Excellent communicator able to synthesise complex ideas for executives and operational teams
• Self-starter with a bias for action and a passion for measurable business impact
