Senior Technical Onboarding Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is looking for a Senior Technical Onboarding Engineer to lead test automation solutions and manage stakeholder relationships within its QSS Test Operations group. The role focuses on integrating and supporting test automation infrastructure and continuous integration systems.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and define stakeholder test automation requirements
• Define project plans for implementing and installing the Test Solution application for new and legacy projects
• Integrate into existing CI/CD systems or recommend the QSS standard CI/CD pipeline
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to design and configure virtual build and test environments
• Troubleshoot issues with test automation infrastructure and build systems
• Assist with configuring relational database environments and support training teams on the QSS Test Solution frameworks
• Administer Linux systems, install and support code coverage tools, and support CI test pipelines
• May assist with developing test automation infrastructure and promote test automation best practices

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing, including at least 1 year in a project management-related role
• Master's degree in Computer, Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering or a related field; a bachelor's degree in engineering with equivalent experience is also considered
• Background in operations project management and in managing test automation environments
• Strong expertise in DevOps and Agile CI/CD implementation
• Required travel of about 10% of the time; first shift, days

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jira, Visual Studio, GitHub Actions, Docker, Linux
• Code coverage tools such as GCOV/GCC and Coverity
• Relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL) and scripting (Python, Bash, C/C++, Shell)
• Preferred: C#, Java, MongoDB, InfluxDB, Grafana, OpenShift, CloudSmith, hybrid cloud knowledge
