Senior Threat Hunting Analyst

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a senior cybersecurity professional to join its Threat Hunting team in Madrid. You will work proactively to uncover hidden threats, translate findings into detection rules, and support incident response across a portfolio of international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hypothesis‑driven, behavior‑based and TTP‑based hunting to validate or refute compromise scenarios.
• Bridge threat intelligence (CTI) and incident response by turning raw intel into actionable hunt hypotheses.
• Document findings clearly, including cases where no threat is detected.
• Investigate advanced threats, assess risk, and track emerging threat actors.
• Design and run proofs‑of‑concept in lab environments to improve detection capabilities.
• Produce actionable intelligence and support cross‑team incident response.
• Analyze attacker behavior using platforms such as Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon XDR, Cortex XSIAM and Google SecOps.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with XDR and next‑generation SIEM solutions.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain and offensive techniques across Windows, Linux and cloud environments.
• Programming experience in Python, PowerShell, Go or Rust.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
