Senior UX Designer - Rainbow Six Siege

About the role

Ubisoft Barcelona, part of Ubisoft's international network of production studios, is hiring a Senior UX Designer for Rainbow Six Siege, one of the world's leading tactical multiplayer games. The designer shapes the player experience so that it is intuitive, engaging and scalable, supporting both new and veteran players. The role works closely with game designers, UI artists, product owners and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Define end-to-end user journeys for the game areas owned by the Barcelona studio.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, information architectures and interaction models.
• Collaborate with Game Design, UI Art, Engineering, Data Analytics and Production teams to deliver high-quality player experiences.
• Advocate for player needs and usability throughout development, translating complex systems into clear interactions.
• Use player research, analytics, usability testing and community feedback to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to and evolve UX guidelines, design systems and best practices across the Siege ecosystem.
• Mentor junior and mid-level UX designers and present design solutions to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional UX design experience, within the gaming industry.
• Demonstrated experience designing in-game UX, including interaction design, player feedback systems, HUD/UI elements, onboarding, tutorials and gameplay mechanics support.
• Proven experience with complex digital products, live-service games or multiplayer experiences.
• Strong portfolio showing the end-to-end UX process and measurable impact.
• Nice to have: experience on AAA games, competitive multiplayer or live-service products, and knowledge of player behavior, progression systems, social features and retention mechanics.
