Senior VP - Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia

About the role

ING is looking for a Senior VP - Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia to join its Transaction Services (TS) team in Wholesale Banking Spain and Portugal. The team serves large corporates with payments and cash management, liquidity solutions and trade finance solutions. You will grow the Daily Banking business and increase profitability by originating new TS mandates in Spain and Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new TS mandates with existing and new clients, deliver revenue targets and client profitability within the risk framework, and collaborate with the local head of Transaction Services and product management
• Manage and advise on complex cash mandates from pre-lead to implementation, negotiate solutions and pricing, and coordinate with the TS Cash Advisory and Structuring team in Amsterdam
• Monitor implementations and ensure timely, accurate delivery of solutions
• Maximise cross-selling of TS solutions, act as a trusted advisor, review existing clients' operations, and perform client profitability analysis
• Monitor the portfolio with risk management and operate under KYC guidelines
• Contribute to new PCM solutions, attend client events, and keep up to date with industry trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance)
• At least 5 years of experience originating, negotiating and implementing Cash Management solutions with Iberian clients
• Excellent commercial skills, entrepreneurial spirit, strong organisational drive and teamwork
• Fluent English and Spanish; Portuguese highly valued

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of the PCM and Liquidity product catalog (Payments, Collections, Channels, Cash & Liquidity solutions, Cash pooling)
• Knowledge of Trade products (bank guarantees, receivables, supply chain finance) highly valued
