SEO Technical Lead (Madrid-based)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring an SEO Technical Lead based in Madrid. You will own the technical health and structural integrity of its transactional ecosystems, including feverup.com and the global white-label network, reporting to the SEO Manager. The role works closely with Data, Product and Systems teams to run a technical roadmap that improves bot accessibility and search visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, define and optimize the information architecture of the transactional websites.
• Ensure optimal bot accessibility for traditional search engines and LLMs.
• Stay up to date with search industry changes and adapt sites quickly to SEO/GEO requirements.
• Monitor and track results with KPIs and dashboards, using large-scale log analysis (ELK, BigQuery, Splunk or similar).
• Partner with Data, Product and Systems to execute the technical roadmap.
• Design, implement and iterate experiments to increase traffic and rankings.
• Audit engineering developments and implement changes that prevent visibility losses.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of proven technical SEO experience on high-traffic sites, preferably e-commerce, with demonstrated results.
• Experience with international sites and adapting SEO strategy to local markets.
• Proactive, self-managing and data-driven, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Google Apps Script and Python, SQL, workflow automation and team management.

Required skills

• Crawling, indexing, structured data, Core Web Vitals, HTML, CSS and API automation.
• Knowledge of search ranking factors, including LLM-powered search (RAG, citations, query fan-out).
• Enterprise SEO software.
