SEO/GEO Writer

About the role

Foundation is an AI visibility marketing agency that helps mid-market and enterprise B2B tech and SaaS companies grow their pipeline through content distributed across LLMs, search, social and communities such as Reddit. As an SEO/GEO Writer you will contribute to, and sometimes own, the research, creation, curation and distribution of content for client brands, working closely with 5-6 clients depending on project scope. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday (~40 hours per week), remote and open to Canadian employees or global contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure content quality meets internal and client requirements and meet creation deadlines.
• Research, optimize in-market tactics and create content such as briefs, drafts, landing pages, email campaigns and other digital content using SEO and digital marketing tools, including AI tools.
• Keep up to date with industry and vertical trends, client feedback, style guide changes and process improvements.
• Give feedback on writer checklists and templates, attend team meetings and training sessions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a freelance or agency content creator.
• Understanding of the vertical(s) you are assigned to.
• Ability to work on several projects at once, under pressure and with changing priorities.
• Strong communication, persuasion and customer-service skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Eager to learn, curious, organized and able to manage your own schedule remotely.

Required skills

• Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling.
• Basic understanding of SEO and what makes content effective.
• Experience with Ahrefs and SEMrush for keyword research, and with a GEO/LLM SEO/AEO tool.
• Ability to write a variety of content types across multiple niches.
